PandaChain is a PoS (Proof-of-Stake) Layer-2 blockchain solution. For true decentralization, it's essential for Pandoshi community to have its own cost-effective blockchain infrastructure. PandaChain will help increase the burn rate, thereby reducing the circulating supply of PAMBO. It will become the home for all official Pandoshi projects and those of the community, and will significantly reduce transaction fees for everyone within the ecosystem.
PandaChain uses various technologies and protocols, such as the PolyBFT consensus mechanism, StateSync, and Checkpoints for bridging. Additionally, it supports ERC standards like ERC-20, ERC-721, and ERC-1155 for token creation. One of the standout features is the zkEVM, which allows for zero-knowledge proofs on an EVM-compatible chain. This offers both scalability and privacy, two features that are often considered mutually exclusive in the blockchain world.
Despite Ethereum's reputation as one of the most secure blockchains, it's plagued with high gas fees. PandaChain will ensure minimal fees for every application, game, or service developed on its platform. Achieving transactions in seconds for mere fractions of a cent is the primary transactional objective. Anyone can become a validator of PandaChain by staking a minimum required amount of $PAMBO and will be rewarded for their contribution with an APY. Additionally, PandaChain will reward developers with 30% of the gas fees spent by users to interact with their smart contracts, thereby encouraging development and growth within the ecosystem. As told earlier PandaChain combines a variety of technologies, each serving a specific purpose. At its core are consensus protocols such as PolyBFT (Polygon Byzantine Fault Tolerance) and IBFT (Istanbul Byzantine Fault Tolerance). These protocols safeguard the network by ensuring that a majority of nodes in the network concur on transactions before they're etched onto the blockchain.
Differing from the energy-intensive Proof-of-Work models seen in platforms like Bitcoin, PolyBFT and IBFT are designed to be energy-conserving and can confirm transactions more swiftly. They work to validate and verify each transaction, maintaining the integrity of the blockchain.
PandaChain also integrates systems such as StateSync and Checkpoints, vital to the bridge's operation. While StateSync guarantees the blockchain state remains synchronized, Checkpoints serve as markers aiding in expedited data validation. Together, they ensure the data traversing the bridge remains both precise and protected.
In PandaChain, decentralization is the core principle that ensures the network's robustness and resilience. Contrary to centralized models where a single malfunction can compromise the entire system, decentralization distributes the power and control across multiple nodes. This distribution ensures the network's continuity, even if some nodes become non-operational, safeguarding its wholeness and efficacy.
Within this decentralized framework, libp2p stands out as the networking maestro. It's a critical enabler that ensures seamless communication among nodes. Libp2p manages node discovery, connection establishment, and secure communication. In essence, it keeps the network robust and efficient, acting as the glue that holds the decentralized system together.
